PAI (polyamide-imide) is a new class of engineering plastics containing amide groups, usually obtained by polycondensation of phenyl tricarboxylic anhydride and diisocyanate in DMF solution. The advent of PAI solves the technical problem that the polyimide can not be injection molded in the past, and various high-precision products with complicated shapes can be formed by the injection process, and the production efficiency is improved. Moreover, PAI has better heat resistance, tensile, bending, compressive strength, dimensional stability and wear resistance than other engineering plastics.
