Ultramid? is a trademark of the semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyamide product family of BASF. The range includes PA 6 (Ultramid B), PA 66 (Ultramid? A), PA 6 / 6T (Ultramid T) and brands based on specialty copolyamides such as PA 66/6.
This series of products have high strength and rigidity; excellent toughness; good elasticity; superior chemical resistance; dimensional stability; low creep; outstanding sliding friction; easy processing and other characteristics. Due to its outstanding performance, Ultramid has become an indispensable material for special applications in the automotive, electrical engineering and machine construction fields.
