Texin? (TPU)

Thermoplastic polyurethane is a high-tech material with unique components that are very practical. Therefore, they combine the characteristics of both rubber and hard thermoplastics. The main advantages of this material are high abrasion resistance, excellent oil resistance, grease resistance and solvent resistance, as well as good weather resistance. At the same time, it has the unique high elasticity and low temperature softness of rubber products.

TPU can be processed by various processes, such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, calendering and other coating methods. The TPU provided by a research and development result of Covestro even applies to the laser sintering process in additive production.

Texin and Bayer thermoplastic polyurethane resins can provide a variety of primers for making soft-touch articles. The multi-purpose specific properties of TPU resins provide designers with a wide range of application design space.
