Amodel? PPA is superior to standard polyamides, has higher strength and stiffness at high temperatures; better maintains its performance in humid environments, and has higher resistance to a wider range of chemicals.
Higher heat resistance: Amodel? PPA is used as a metal replacement in high temperature automotive applications.
Low hygroscopicity: A humid environment can have a devastating effect on the mechanical properties of standard polyamides.
Higher chemical resistance: Even at high temperatures, the highly aromatic ring structure of Amodel? PPA provides greater resistance to a wider range of chemicals than standard aliphatic polyamides.
